My nickname is PHANNY – and I am ALL PUPPY. I came to TABR with multiple issues, including deformities in my growth plates making my back legs bow out like a cowboy and I walk on my ankle on my front foot so my foster family has to wrap it up twice a day to help straighten it. But none of that slows me down! I love to play with toys, eat like a pig, and bark at the other dogs. I give GREAT kisses too! I’m thankfully doing really well with the progress on my front leg. Sadly, the vet is not sure if there will be anything that can fix how bowed my back legs are. So I may walk a little wonky for life, but I sure do get along just fine. When all my growth plates have fully formed at about a year, the vet will look and see if I need surgery on my front leg. Because it will be a while until we’re ready for that step, I am looking for my forever home, but it will have to be local to the OKC area so that my new family can take me to the TABR’s vet for my appointments. With my medical concerns, it would be awesome if I could find a home with a prior adopter of TABR or a family with a lot of bulldog experience to fit my needs.
