Unfortunately my previous home had to give me up because I had a rectal prolapse (I’ll spare you the pictures – but it was pretty intense) and they couldn’t afford another surgery. It was quite the process recently getting fixed up but I’m hoping I am finally in the clear! I got a super fancy surgery where they attached my colon to my abdominal wall to prevent having this issue in the future! I am on a very specific food now for life called Royal Canin Veterinary Diet Gastrointestinal Food. It stinks to high heaven but man, I feel so much better now that I eat that! My foster mom is super awesome and even puts fiber and probiotic supplements on my food too! She loves looking out for me. My foster mom likes to call me a big Doofus, because that’s what I am! I’ve done real well with other dogs and grew up with several other dogs. I sometimes can be a little “humpy” at first with other dogs out of excitement, but I take correction very well when I’m told to cut it out! Once I’m established in the pack at my house, then I will be the perfect gentleman. I also enjoy kiddos as well! I do love to run around and play chasing toys so no toddlers right now would probably be smart. I’m a total lovebug personality wise and love getting my wrinkles rubbed!
